Mini Session Terms and Conditions:
Included in the session:
20 minute mini session
5 digital images of your choice in high resolution
Additional images may be available for purchase if desired.
Images will be available for viewing at the studio within 7 days of your session. Viewing appointments to be scheduled after your session at a mutually convenient time and date.
Cancellation and Postponement
The client understands that by entering into this agreement, the photographer is foregoing other photographic jobs. In the event of a cancellation of the portrait session by the client, the session fees paid are non-refundable.
Cooperation
Lauren Vanier Photography is not responsible if the client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions. The Photographer’s camera is the only camera allowed at the photo session because of the distraction it causes, especially to small children, which hinders The Photographer’s ability to obtain quality shots. If the client and/or key individuals fail to appear to a scheduled portrait session, the session fee is non-refundable.
Health Declaration
In line with WorkSafe Tasmania and the COVIDSAFE plan, all parties must declare that they are currently in good health with no symptoms of respiratory illness, cough, cold or fever. Additionally all parties must confirm that they have not been instructed to isolate or quarantine or have travelled to restricted areas within 14 days of the session. By signing this contract, all parties make this declaration and agree to contact and reschedule if there is a change in circumstances between the contract being signed and the session date. It is also a requirement that all parties sanitise their hands upon entry to the studio.
Copyright
The 1968 Copyright Act assigns copyright to Lauren Vanier photography, unless at the time of booking a release is negotiated. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow reproduction whether electronically, photographically, print or any other means as part of this agreement without obtaining express permission in writing from Lauren Vanier Photography. The exception to this is that where the client has been supplied images by the photographer by a digital medium such as USB, disc or a downloadable method, the client is permitted to make unlimited reproductions for their own personal use. The client is not permitted to manipulate any images whether digital or print in any way. No images supplied by Lauren Vanier photography may be used for commercial use without the permission of Lauren Vanier photography.
Limit of liability
Lauren Vanier Photography takes the utmost care with respect to the exposure and retouching of digital captures. However, in the very unlikely event that all the originals are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed within or beyond Photographer’s control, Photographer’s liability is limited to the refund of all payments received, or a reshoot can be scheduled at no additional cost. The limit of liability for partial loss or damage of originals shall be a prorated amount of the total amount, based on the percentage of originals lost or damaged.
Model release
Lauren Vanier Photography retains the right in all cases to use images for the purpose of business promotion, advertising, editorial, instructional purposes or as work samples, including, but not limited to via internet promotion, studio display, publication and promotional material. The Client hereby releases Lauren Vanier Photography and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. It is agreed that Lauren Vanier photography may display and use the photographs taken for advertising, display, website and internet promotion, photographic contests, display samples, photography books, photography instructional books, studio display, magazine advertising and any other purpose thought proper by Lauren Vanier Photography.
The Client agrees that images may be used online for promotional purposes and that this model session may include images that utilise sheer outfits and that some skin, pregnant belly and implied nudity may be seen in the images.
Image manipulation
All digital images are individually edited by Lauren Vanier photography. A basic level of retouching is included as standard, however if more detailed retouching is required by the client, this will be charged extra. Lauren Vanier Photography will agree costs before undertaking such work with the client.
Creative License
The photographer’s judgement shall be deemed to be correct in all artistic matters such as poses, locations, composition and number of photographs taken. Some photographs may not be possible due to weather, location and the availability and willingness of the subjects. Lauren Vanier Photography will not guarantee any particular images, background, composition, but will always do their best to carry out the requests.
Timeframes for completion
Lauren Vanier Photography will endeavour to edit your gallery ready for viewing within 7 days of your session. Downloading your images or receiving them in person via USB or airdrop serves as satisfaction - no refunds will be processed for digital images
Privacy
We shall not use your email address for any purpose other than communications about your photo shoot and images or to advise you of products, services or special promotions. Lauren Vanier Photography may contact you by telephone, SMS, post or email but we will not pass on your details to anyone else.
