When my first baby came along, I wanted to capture every moment and milestone possible.
I have loved photos and photography for as long as I can remember, so I dived right in and got a "fancy" DSLR camera to make sure I didn't miss any of those moments as my baby was growing.
But you know what? I didn't really know how to use my fancy camera. Sure, I read the instructions and tried a youtube video or 2.... but none of it really made sense. There were numbers and settings and everything came out too dark or waaay too bright or blurry, so I stuck it on auto mode and hoped for the best!
Sometimes I captured an amazing moment... but I could never work out how to recreate it. Then I tried a DIY cake smash... with no knowledge of how to work my camera properly or position myself and the baby, I'll let you imagine how that went!! (spoiler alert: Pinterest Fail)
Then, I finally decided to work it all out. I took a whole load of courses and invested hard in my photography education - and it was then that it all just clicked! I'd unlocked the secret to using my "fancy camera." Finally I could create the amazing insta-worthy, Pinterest-style photos of my kids consistently. I've finally got family photos that I took, hanging on the walls of our home.
Now, I want to share my knowledge with you! My 6-week course will unlock the secrets of photography and will transform the photos you take.
In 6 easy-to-understand, jargon-free, online-classes and 2 in person workshops at my Hobart Based studio - I will give you the skills to take beautiful, professional quality photos of your kids and family that you will treasure for a lifetime.
I'm Lauren :)
am so excited you're here. Welcome! You are absolutely in the right place. I'm a mum of three with a special love of photography, preserving memories and freezing time.
